Tahnee Campbell Begins Administration Traineeship with Akeyulerre Healing Centre
- News
Local young woman Tahnee Campbell has taken an exciting step towards her future career, recently commencing a part-time Administration Traineeship with Akeyulerre Healing Centre through a collaborative partnership between the Indigenous Skills and Employment Program (ISEP), Akeyulerre Healing Centre and GTNT Group.
Tahnee’s employment journey is a testament to her determination and the positive impact of strong community partnerships that create pathways to meaningful employment for local people.
ISEP played a key role in supporting Tahnee throughout her employment journey, helping her build work readiness and complete essential employment requirements. This included assistance with her resume, Tax File Number application, superannuation setup, Working with Children Clearance application, and obtaining the identification documents required for employment.
With a strong interest in bush medicine and healing, Tahnee identified Akeyulerre Healing Centre as her preferred workplace. Through ongoing engagement, an Administration Traineeship opportunity was identified, and ISEP supported Tahnee in preparing and submitting her application.
Following a successful recruitment process, Tahnee commenced her role on 13 July 2026, taking the first steps towards a promising career within a respected Aboriginal organisation.
Since commencing her role, Tahnee has continued to receive support from ISEP through workplace visits, onboarding assistance and employment mentoring. In partnership with GTNT Group, a traineeship pathway has also been established to provide the training, guidance and ongoing support needed for her to succeed in the role.
This successful outcome highlights the value of strong partnerships in creating local employment opportunities. Through the combined efforts of ISEP, Akeyulerre Healing Centre and GTNT Group, Tahnee has been able to transition into the workforce, gain valuable experience and build a strong foundation for her future career.
Congratulations to Tahnee on this wonderful achievement. We wish her every success as she begins her career journey with Akeyulerre Healing Centre and continues to grow through her traineeship.
